The Ocean
 

Just wondering what people think of a band known as 'The Ocean' from Germany. They're like post/prog metal so I've heard, I'm currently downloading fluxion and will post more after listening.

Ok, so I listened to 'Fluxion' and I'm part way through 'Aeolian' considering that they were intended as a double album. These guys are certainly one of the most interesting metal bands I've heard in quite some time.

I believe they acquired a new singer and completely revamped their sound for the Heliocentric/Anthropocentric double album that was released last year. I've listened through Heliocentric and liked what I heard. The new vocalist is like a German Chris Cornell who can rip out a full throated scream is he so chooses.
