So, we've heard your opinions on the big four and all the rest, but what about right at this moment, who is the best thrash band going right now? Old or new. I have to go with Exodus hands down. Their sound defines modern thrash right now, and manages to stay utterly true to thrash while not sounding in the least bit dated.
If I've left anyone out, mention them and I'll put them on the poll.

Another band who play super fast are Kylesa who are a sludge metal band, but they`re certainly the fastest sludge band I`ve ever heard! |

Janszoon I think you and I were meant to share in something deep and meaningful in life, like going to see those guys and coming out with blown ear drums, or decayed teeth.
One of their title tracks' Snakes for the Divine is some of the best thrash I've heard and seen for that matter, and they give you 8 minutes of the stuff.

Your not alone. I consider Relapse records a cornerstone in thrash at the moment. Sludge, stoner, i just call it kickass. Saw HOF at the Detroit Bar last year, Matt Pike tore the house down. Black Tusk also kicks severe ass.
