Eddie Money - (Album) Life For The Taking.

Eddie Money is not only one of my all-time favorite rock artist, he has always been my favorite vocalist to cover. His voice as far as style reminds me of Paul Rogers more so than any other. I might include that his band members were always outstanding musicians, one & all. His music in my opinion, is some of the best and versatile rock of the 70s. If you like the genres soul, R&B, progressive rock, orchestrated, and the list just goes on holding into account all the different genres and styles of music Money incorporates with his sound & style.

Eddie Money's second album. It was recorded in 1978, and released in 1979 via Columbia Records. The album includes the singles "Can't Keep a Good Man Down", "Gimme Some Water" and "Maybe I'm a Fool."

Met him last year after a free concert, and he's quite a smarmy individual. He made me immensely uncomfortable.

He was a New York City cop before he became a full time artist. So..maybe?

I remember one of his first popular singles, "Baby Hold On To Me". And one of my favorite singles (which has been on a lot of movie soundtracks) is "I Think I'm In Love".

Met him 5 years ago setting up some stage mics. He was doing a little thing at the local elementary school and made a total buffoon out of himself in front of an audience full of under 10 year olds. He was an ass to us, to the staff, and he spouted off to the kids in his stupid accent "AY! My name is Eddie Money ... you might not have heard of me, but ask your parents... I'm a famous rockstar." Herp derp derp. He was/is so washed up now. He's grizzly, uncomfortable, and a horrible, horrible motivational speakers.

"Youz kids can grow up and be just like me, Eddie Money!"

Swear he was so obnoxious I'm sure all the kids decided they would certainly not grow up to be rockstars like Eddie Money.

So ever since, me and my buddies that set up for it always say"F*ck Eddie Money!" when one of his songs would come on the radio.

Wow, I'm really shocked to hear two different bad impressions concerning his character. And his current status as an artist, has been at resorting to "performing for 10yr olds"? I know his style of vocals is not to everyone taste, but his music was so good back in the day. And he had a number of hits, as well as a lot of popular songs on the flip sides through the 70s & 80s.

Count me in as shocked also. I met him after performing at Galaxy concert theater three years ago. He was very gracious and nice to me and my date. He signed an lp i had brought just in case and even offered us a tour shirt. I didn't notice a decrease in his vocal skill either he put on a great show. I like his music and respect him as a person also. Good guy.

Yeah..I was adding to the entertainment verses the advert. "It can get boring around "here" sometimes".:D I kinda knew better. Hell.. I could get a job performing for 10yr olds! Of course I'm not Eddie Money either.
