"Made in Japan is a great live album. But there's just something about the sound on "In Rock". Just a real ugly, abrasive sound that they never came close to after that. Of course, you could also describe it as a ****ty production job, but it fits the music.

Machine Head, Holy Diver, All the Rainbow albums except the last one. Top 4 in order
Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Long Live Rock and Roll, Down to Earth, and Difficult to Cure.

Nearly all Waysted LP's. UFO's Strangers In The Night, Michael Schenker Group's Assault Attack. Just a few on my pea brain at the moment.

Really, they're usually one of the most slagged off metal bands on the forum. I've been here since 2009 and I've often noticed this.

Great choices here and its always great to see a UFO fan on the forum, that band were just so good back in the 1970s.

Nice to see another UFO fan period. We need to come out of the woodwork.

I fancy UFO too. They were great in the 70s.

For whatever reason, I get a bit of hate when I say this, but Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell has been my favorite for quite some time, and for good reason. It's Dio at his best, but before he made Holy Diver.

I LOVE ugly and especially abrasive, hence Kill 'Em All! As soon as I can I plan on grabbing some Deep Purple up. I just need to get a bit more moolah; only been at my new job for a few months and it's pretty hard to get by let alone aford the music I want...

Something by Judas Priest and/or Pantara would be my choice for starters.

Not gonna go back through to see if anyone else posted it yet.

But seriously, if nobody's mentioned "Human" by Death, then I fear for this planet.
