Just got the debut from Devil's Train, featuring members of Mystic Prophecy and Stratovarius, but the music is not much like either of those bands. More old-school hard rock with a metal tinge. Great album, I highly recommend it.

Classic late 80's Speed Metal although I did buy the limited deluxe edition and got the standard edition. Email sent! Import. http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...tjtDunIvRes32J Best album they have done in years and best pure Thrash album I have also heard in years after enduring a lot of 'retro' thrash bands. Import. http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...aWKN3S-yI8Gt4g Akphaezya - Antology II I came across these guys from MB a few years ago and finally managed to track down the album. A fantastic mix of Death Metal, Jazz, Symphonic Metal (which I normally hate) and lush Female vocals. Despite the crazy genre mashings, it's as easy as butter on the ear. |

So they are forgiven in their choice of name. Devil's Train.... unless you are going to be some sort of old western inspired Metal act, is goofy. Unless you just mean they are an example of a band with a goofy name who rules.... which in that case... I agree. |

Speaking of silly band names, I just ordered Bolt Thrower's "Mercenary" on vinyl. **** me some of their records have retarded prices, the only other records of theirs on Amazon in the sub-$30 range are "In Battle There is No Law!" (which I already have) & "For Those Once Loyal". I like "Realms of Chaos" plenty, but that was more than the food processor I ordered, :(
