Default Iskra

Has anyone else heard these guys?? They’re from Victoria, BC the same city as me and run a cool little metal shop in town here.
Early stuff is more crust influenced while later stuff adds more bm elements.
I don’t really care for their far left-wing hippie politics but they are well worth checking out if your looking for a good crust punk/bm hybrid, combining influences from acts such as Amebix, Doom, Siege, early Napalm Death etc. with bm and sometimes even grindcore influences.
Thoughts, opinions??

Canadian blackened crust ftw. How about Black Kronstadt?

The Terrorism Act EP from Iskra is sick.

Yeah, from the bits I’ve heard Black Kronstadt sound pretty great as well.

I still need to check out that EP of Iskra’s. They put on a ****ing awesome live show.

I think the notion of so called Red & Anarchist Black Metal is actually more retarded than NSBM by quite a stretch. I mean, most hippies annoy me to no end, but punk reds & anarchists are the absolute worst.

That being stated, would you mind posting a representative track or two by them?

Sorry, needed 15 posts before I could post these, but here you go
The vocals bugged me a bit at first but I have no problem with them now.
