I appreciate music. The effort some bands put into being original is astounding. But to me great lyrics also make the music that little bit better. Kind of like a compliment ratehr than a bonus

I can appreciate good lyrics and deep meaning. But sometimes it feels like the writer was trying so hard to be on the next level of "emotion" that they brought out a dictionary to help with the process. Trying to be to poetic.

I don't read between the lines to often. Everything gets over analyzed as it is.

i find its not so much bands that make me think.. mayeb more so albums..

Alkaline Trio - Goddamnit
Alkaline Trio - Maybe I'll Catch Fire
Brand New - Deja Entendu
The Appleseed Cast - Low Level Owl I -II
Sunny Day Real Estate - Diary
Pink Floyd - The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon
Fleetwood Mac - Romurs

on all of those albums i think the lyrics are great.. all these albums i loved, and or still love every single song on it..
