Grand Belial’s Key – Doom Generation (Chaos 88 cover)
Anal Vomit – Antichrist (Sepultura cover)
Emperor – A Fine Day To Die (Bathory cover)
Faith No More – War Pigs (Black Sabbath cover)
Immortalis – Countess Bathory (Venom cover)
Revenge – War (Bathory cover)
Fear Factory – Dog Day Sunrise (Head of David cover, though not really metal)
Sepultura – Orgasmatron (Motorhead cover)
Sodom – Iron Fist (Motorhead cover)
Type O Negative – Cinnamon Girl (Neil Young cover)

Some interesting stuff there, Type O Negative were particuarly great at covering stuff and you should've added on their cover of "Black Sabbath" an epic performance.

I liked avenged sevenfold's "Walk" by Pantera.

Although that is probably just because I love everything they put out.

I loved that too! Fantastic song.

Stainless steel. It doesn't rust and is hard wearing.

Anthrax covering Joe Jackson's "Got the Time". This is (a) better than the original and (b) probably my favorite Anthrax track.

Didn't even know that that song was a cover, I loved it for so long, I'll have to see how the original holds up to it.

The original version of Mexican Radio is pretty good (for a radio tune :p:), and Celtic Frost did a pretty great version of it on Into the Pandemonium that I'm quite a fan of.

Dude, the original is great, as is most of the album it comes from. Wall of Voodoo were an amazing band with several top-notch albums.

I'll have to check out that Celtic Frost cover though. Could be interesting.

Decapitated - Mandatory Suicide (Slayer)

They just both happened to be on the same soundtrack.

And although, not specifically metal but still awesome...

The Celtic Frost cover is nothing special and not as good as the original, I really don't know why Celtic Frost even covered that song and its not like it was even used to fill out the album a bit, but it kicked off the whole album!

As a **** you to all the meathead metalheads back in the eighties.

Machine Head - The Sentinel (Judas Priest) - awesome (the first 30 seconds are pure guitar metal junkie juice)

Sybreed - Love Like Blood (Killing Joke)
It is a nice modernized version of an old classic, and it adds a bit more of a New Wave feel to it with its production and such

I think that cover really sums up Heavy Metal, great band too.
