Default Acid Bath

I just did a search for this band out of curiosity, just to see what five million members had already said about this band, only to find out that "acid bath" yielded no results in a forum search.

Seriously? The **** is wrong with you people?

So, let's all talk about how When the Kite String Pops is the greatest metal album ever recorded.

All that gave me was a Google search that included absolutely nothing about Acid Bath. I guess old people just don't know how to use search engines.

I was happy to get my friend heavily into them. A heavy combo of Type O Negative, Alice in Chains, and the Doors, and those are basically his favorites.

There's some pretty bad quality on Golgotha's demo, and I like raw stuff. But none of it is unlistenable
I really like this thrashed out version of the song.

Don't use the forum search function if you can avoid it.

I already had this demo on my computer, and the equalizer on MusicBee has the treble kicked up so high that this sounds like it's drilling straight into my brain. Awesome.

My experience with these guys involved 2 close buddies. One of them was just all teeth for AB, totally wore the album out (the one with Gacy paintings on the cover, was about '99 I think). The other friend told me "I just don't get 'em, man". I was pretty much with the second friend.

Prog dweeb. How could you not love this? (Ignore the anime goofiness. This was the only video of this song I could find.)

both equally good albums, but i think Acid Bath has the slight edge, tunes-wise and sheer driving power, the only thing i dislike about it is the over-distorted vocals on some tracks and the truly generic "god machine"

Acid Bath - 4
Neurosis - 1

But there is something in the Acid Bath album that grips me more, especially the songwriting. I think as a lyricist Dax Riggs is top notch. The vocals on the album are top notch, the vocal effects on a song like "The Bones of Baby Dolls" is amazing.

I feel like a traitor going against Melvins, but that Acid Bath album just blows me away every time I listen to it.

Weird with the album, I prefer the slower moments more then the heavier moments. This song blows me away every time I hear it. Never tire of it:

I don't think Bullhead matches Houdini the following album in terms of quality at all.

Acid Bath -4
Melvins -4
There was a long discussion about them vs. Melvins. I think I'm reading it just fine. And now, we watch as Batlord backs up his argument with trolling.

That's not an Acid Bath thread. That's the Metal Wars thread. Dur.
