Inxs

Do any of you like INXS? What do you think of them?

I've really only heard two of their albums, Welcome to Wherever You Are and Kick. I loved WTWYA and Kick was pretty good. What are you guys favorite albums/songs by them? What do you guys think of WTWYA?

I've never heard Welcome to Wherever You Are but I like Listen Like Thieves and Kick a lot.

Inxs has the funk rythm section that is unique to their individual sound and style. They personally remind me of Duran Duran alot, at being comparative musical styles and era. What You Need and New Sensation are a few favorite singles.

Love them... favorite tracks - Suicide Blonde, Never Tear Us Apart, Mystify, and Devil Inside.

Never Tear Us Apartt has got to be a world record for shortest sax solo, although that snare snap and next soaring note are quite powerful.

Yeah, I've always liked Inxs. Talented group.

never was huge into them, but I really love "Never Tear Us Apart" still.

The song "Questions" on the album "welcome to wherever you are" is good

Kinda bumpin' this ol' thread here and this is kinda old news now, but did anyone ever get around to watching the INXS telemovie thing?

I haven't seen the whole thing but have been meaning to sit down and give it a go, I've seen snippets here and there and it seemed pretty good, even if the actual truth of the story behind Michael Hutchence and his family is slightly warped...

me and most of my friends are rock/metal guys. Sometimes I turn up an inxs song and they give me crap. Then i say do you guys remember how 'this' used to be pop music? It's a band, they play instruments, back when they were popular even janet jackson songs had electric guitar solos and riffs.

Now listen to this crap on pop radio today and tell me you don't miss those days. They don't have much to say after that.
