Default The Killers

They don't really have an official thread so here it is... I've just rediscovered how good their first album was. Should I bother getting any of their other stuff after Hot Fuss? What does everyone here think of them?

Thread STARTED.

Alot of people say their second album was better but i never got into it. I loved The Killers when they first came out. I was downloading everything i could find before their album came out then i went out and bought it. I wasnt impressed with them live and i havent felt the same way about them since.

Hot fuss is still one of my favorite albums of the decade and basically got me into synth-pop or whatchamightcallit. The rest is just crap...mostly.

They're crap, I loved them once up on a time. Hot Fuss is alright I guess.

'Read My Mind' is one of the greatest singles of the decade.

Two great songs off of Hot Fuss that they didn't play on the radio:

And the last really good song they recorded, before Flowers discovered Springsteen:

Sam's Town has some great stuff on it, Bones and Read My Mind for example, but isn't nearly as good as Hot Fuss.

I was just about to mention those, as I thought Sam's Town was really quite good. Hot Fuss was clearly better, but I dont think you shuld discard Sams Town as crap. It was obviously better than the two following albums.
