How to handle these kind of posers?
 

So I've been watching a video on YouTube of Limp Bizkit/Slayer concert and amongst all the normal comments there's this odd, retarded one saying "If Slayer and Limp Bizkit were in prison together Slayer would rape Limp Bizkit".

I'm like "WTF dude, how do you know guys from Slayer are tougher than LB guys". He says "cause they play heavier music and look tougher"



Oooh I see. So I guess if I started dressing as guys from Slayer and bash guitar a little I'd instantly become the toughest guy ever? Flawless logic LOL.

Lets just look at Tom Araya(Slayer frontman) and Durst(LB frontman)

Durst may not be the biggest badass mother****er ever but he lived through far more than Tom Araya did. He used to fight off bullies alot bigger than him when he was kid, he was in navy, in jail, and he beaten the **** out of the guy who his wife cheated him with(btw the guy had 15 kilos and 10 cm on Durst) WHILE his wife was trying to stop him(he didn't hit his wife though), feel free to check his biography its all there if you don't believe me. He jumped from like 5-10 meters into a crowd, there is even a vid on YT:

Now, what interesting did Tom Araya did? NOTHING. He is a catholic respiratory therapist . CATHOLIC. RESPIRATORY. THERAPIST. Never even been in a fight. Never lifted weights, never trained anything, NOTHING. How would THAT guy be though? What's even worse, he has album named "God Hates Us All" and he is catholic LOL. He sings about death, torture, pain and all other wanna-be-dark crap but he never seen death, never felt torture, nothing even CLOSE to it. True example of a poser, I wonder how do people even take him for serious.

And what's worse, there are more people like that who live in some kind of a fantasy world. I'm just wondering is there a reasonable explanation to this or am I completely right?

Limp Bizkit both are tryhard, untalented and awful and therefor if they'd both be in jail people wouldn't eve touch them for the filthy non-music they make.

If you're more concerned about who can beat who up become a boxing fan.

I don't care how 'tough' a band are all I care about is who writes better music and in this case Slayer wipe the floor with that shitty other band.

Maybe you are reading way too much into a passing, pretty pointless statement?

I'm not concerned about that, but I'm concerned when weak people with complexes try to make themselves look hard by saying they listen to a certain band and then expecting people to fear them or something like that.

Well if you think Slayer write better music OK, everybody has the right to have their own opinion and if you want to listen to a poser OK.

Aren't you the same person that made the thread about fighting black metal fans? I'm seeing kind of a motif here.

I don't get it. Its a nothing statement posted on Youtube and it is completely hypothetical. Maybe the author meant it to be taken with a far lighter heart than you are.

If you want to take it so literally though, then why argue his point? Surely neither of you can prove the other to be wrong?

Maybe you should re-address this issue when all the members of Slayer and Limp Bizkit are arrested, jailed, and the former attempts to rape the latter.

Actually most of the lyrics Tom Araya writes are inspired from history, the news and the bible. As I know he's interested in the first two things and he's also a Catholic how does that make him a poser?

I hate to be proven wrong but you're right, there is no way we can know for sure what would happen.

Just for the record however, if we made decisions based on what we know so far Tom Araya is the one who'd be getting it in the butt :laughing:
