Metal/rock bands you just cant seem to like

I've no idea if this has been done before, but as I'm new to the forum, I thought I'd try start a thread.

Ok, so I know a lot of people like AC/DC, but I just can't get into them. Apparently their sets are legendary etc, but I really don't like them.
Another band, Disturbed, I've never liked. Their sound is just so generic, it conjures an image of the guitarist messing with his amp, sneezing, and saying "that'll do"

Also, I can't understand people liking Bring Me The Horizon. I've seen them live twice, tried listening to their music, but it feels like my ears are being ripped from my head.

There's a few like that with me. I can't get into Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce The Veil or even Asking Alexandria (I don't understand the sudden burst of popularity). But it is entirely opinion-based. So there is no shame in liking or disliking any music.

Foo Fighters and Nirvana, examples of bands I dont really like. There are many more, but these 2 are the most prominent.

I know what you mean, Green Day fall into that category for me, I really can't stand their stuff now

Led Zeppelin. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate what they achieved but there wasn't that hook to their music that kept me interested.

Lamb of God. I'm due to give them another try, but I can't seem to get past the vocal style (which is strange considering some of the bands that I do listen to).

Foo Fighters. It all seems so predictable and safe. I do like Dave Grohl though, seems a genuinely good bloke.

Burn the Priest and New American Gospel too? I'm not really a fan of Randy's vocals after those albums, but those two are a completely different kettle of shark.

I two albums I gave a try was Ashes of The Wake and Wrath. Possibly I need to experiment further with them.

I think Foo Fighters is ok - predictable, yes, but catchy. I love some of their newer songs, because they are up-beat and with a hard rock sound. I don't see why people hate on Nirvana, either. They killed hair metal, and their songs are good. I know that they sold out with their second album, and that makes them a bit less respectable, but even though some of their songs are "predictable", I still like them. Predictable doesn't have to be a bad thing.

Well, I do not have much respect for Nickelback and Linkin Park. Or nu-metal in general. Oh, and Slipknot. Mostly because of their costumes - they're ridiculous.

These tunes sound nothing like either of those albums. I don't really give a **** about LOG beyond their first two, but those two are some of the best extreme metal albums I've ever heard.

Nine Inch Nails, I've tried and tried, then tried some more but just can't get to the point where I enjoy listening the majority of the stuff he puts out.
