Default Unknown bands that you like

Does anyone have bands that they like but are pretty much unknown?

I have, for example bands like Power Quest, Arthemis, Timeless Miracle.....

Convoy!
Convoy Music, Lyrics, Songs, and Videos

They freakin RAWK! The lead singer's a friend of mine, we opened up for his old band Lynt many times a few years back, and he came to our (band I used to be in) studio to do a cover of "Show Me How To Live" which came out friggin awesome. I caught a Convoy show a couple months back when they opened up for Pat Travers. Great tunes, killer stage presence, and just a fun bunch of guys.

I don't know how "famous" or whatever, but I love Huntress. Their first album, Spell Eater, came out early last year, and I've not had it out my cd player or off my mp3 player since.

nothing is unknown these days anymore since the dawn of the computer and social sites unknown is wayy different then what it was like in 1992

to be unknown u have to be like a garage band that has yet to post ur band on the net or played a show

So not true.

I'm a big fan of the Sizlacks, which are relatively unkown. They only have 3 demos up on youtube, and are supposedly working towards getting a record deal.

Yeah, not true. Granted, internet has allowed for bands to put out their music more conveniently, but that doesn't mean there are no more unknown bands. I find new bands all the time.

But you said as your second point that you need to be a garage band to be considered unknown, which isn't true.

Not really.

Just because you are on the internet doesn't mean people are listening to you.
People who post their music on the internet in 2013 are just as unknown as the bands who would put out classified ads in music papers offering you a free demo tape in 1992.

Anyone who ever got big using 'The Internet' already had management and a record company behind them.
