I have heard this term used to classify a couple bands I really enjoy:


Backyard Babies






Hellacopters







Would the Dwarves fit in this category? They remind me of both of those band (if you add the pedo-shock element of the Dwarves that quite frankly I could REALLY do without)






Any thoughts?

The only result I found on a Google search was a last.fm channel, again centered around bands like Backyard Babies and Hellacopters. I think it's just a reference to that straight-up balls-out high-volume style. If you know those two groups, the term kinda fits. I think it kinda fits the Dwarves too, as I said in the OP.
