Pop rock...

Pop rock is potentially my favorite type of rock. The downside is that there seems to not be as much of it as there is hard rock, I think.

There are slower types of pop rock like Pink. But if a song were to be a mix of rap and rock, I think it would be classified as pop rock as well. Am I wrong?

Pop rock is mainstream music that becomes less appealing as the years and the decades go by.

A lot of groups do that. Most of them can be considered nu metal.

Rap rock is an own genre. I think there is MORE pop rock than hard rock, but consider that I classify nu metal and post-grunge bands (Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Nickelback) as pop rock.
