Akitsa

French-Canadian group.

The most impressive track of theirs is "Magie Et Verites"; the minimalism, in regards to instrumentation, allows for the vocals to dominate the song completely. The guitars, a short solo aside, are quite discordant. The bass drum never varies throughout the song, and it does nothing but reinforce the harshness of the vocals and guitars. Personal preferences aside, this song is an excellent example of how the group melded their Industrial & Oi influences with orthodox black metal to create a unique and memorable sound.

Reminds me of Peni with a chick screaming in the background. The guitar tone was crisp. The vocalist certainly has a powerful voice.
