who here is in a punk band (emo and hardcore aswell) and what instrument do you play :band:

i play bass in my band and were hardcore punk

I used to play bass in a band when I was in high school. Ahhh the memories...

I play guitar in my band.....

Emo/Hardcore mix...without the screams, hardcore music. Davey Havok meets Posion The Well. I'm vocals (yes I do sound like Davey Havok on Sing The Sorrow) and occasional acoustic guitar when needed. My band is Sub-Heroic and I'll post our website if anyone wants me too.

used to sing in a couple bands, none actually went anywhere or did anything (Y)

I used to play in a band,well,we rehearsed for years and played 2 gigs!! I used to play guitar.We used to play a mix of rock,punk,ska,blues pretty much anything.We just used to like producing a good sound(good to us!) and playing.I am gutted it fell apart,as an old man i can tell you youngsters to throw all you have into it as before you know where you are life has taken over and 'The Band' has to take a back seat.

Yeah I can see that point but my band kinda disbanded due to college and just different situations. We still get together every once in a while back home and jam but nothing serious. Just doing it for nostalgia's sake. Hehe I always used to brag that we won 2 Battle of the Bands that were sponsored by PBS. Now I see how piddly that was haha.

Yes,its sad when you look at it after like that BUT i always say that we were the best band in the world that never happend and i like to leave it at that.
