Nickelback have to be one of the most underrated music groups of all time, Kroeger is one of a kind when it comes to lyrical content, he has really come in to his own..a long way from Silver Side Up and the magnificent duet with Josey Scott on the Spiderman soundtrack.

I will give you all a lengthy example of the genius of Chad Kroger, a modern day R. Kelly with his eloquent point of view in daily life and it comes through with the song titled "S.E.X"

S is for the simple need.

Do you see that? He breaks up the word known as 'sex' and turns in to the most commonly used daily occurrence in life, a simple need..whilst all the same with E for ecstasy, he is telling you that 'sex' can bring you a feeling that only you can experience and bring in to your own individual life..and X is just to mark the spot, I love that, I really do. It's amazing how Chad can tell you that it marked the spot, that X..it's the full stop, Chad doesn't want any more. I love it as a song and the concept is wonderful for other humans to explore..also, you have to explore the Nickelback catalogue, it is amazing.

Nickelback is far from a joke..how could you make such a statement? Nickelback were influenced from YOUR bands. Silver Side Up is a classic.

I like Chad Kroeger's voice and most of nickelback's songs are quite catchy. However I have gotten tired of listening to them now these days. Now I prefer Daughtry more. Still, Nickelback remains a good band.

"He" isn't even a real person, it's just a troll character.

"Grunge" isn't a wildly accepted term for the those bands who forge the music that later became known as Grunge, and only Seattle area bands were (or should be known as) Grunge. Nickelback were not from Seattle, and so they are/were not Grunge, or even "lifted to a whole new level Grunge", they are a band from Canada, and their music-style was Post-Grunge.
Grunge ≠ Post Grunge.

Nickelback make my ears bleed. You need to realise that popular opinions are that Nickelback are awful. I'm not sure how you don't know this? I've seen them live unfortunately, they opened for the Rolling Stones and Chad's voice was so terrible I had to cover my ears.
