It was new news to me when I was looking over their wiki page last week. I didn't know that new girl that replaced Tarja got replaced as well. I think due to a pregnancy.

huh didnt know this either. I might be the only one to prefer their post-tarja stuff (or atleast Dark Passion Play aka their best album). No idea who this new girl is and i havent really been following them as much recently (imaginarium was pretty meh imo) so i have little to no expectations on them moving forward. And by that I mean i doubt theyll make an album that will blow me away from here on out regardless of who their singer is.

Floor is 100% better than Anette. Tarja will always be the original and the best vocalist for Nightwish, but I think I might actually listen to the new music they put out with Floor. Anette's voice just hurt my ears... I'm so glad she's gone.

I have no particular desire to rehash my opinion of Nightwish, but if they're having such vocalist problems then perhaps the band's days are numbered.

I guess I keep up to date with this sort of stuff because I knew about this way earlier in the year. Maybe I spoke too soon about it being old news.
