Just get 'Ten'

It's the album with Alive, Even Flow, Jeremy, Once. This is their best album in my opinion.

Vs. is the best Pearl Jam album ever...period. Solid from start to finish plus I think you'll like it because it has lots of uptempo songs on it!!! As far as other things go, get the Singles soundtrack, which is excellent! (State of Love and Trust is on that one)

Ten is the most likeable album I think.

Bands I recommend:Soundgarden, Days of the New, Alice In Chains, Temple of the Dog, Mudhoney, Mother Love Bone, Green River, Meat Puppets.
And if you like the majority of those Dinosaur Jr., Pixies, and Pavement are another good move.

Pearl Jam Lays it Out
The Seattle stalwarts explain the story behind their new, self-titled CD.

Vs is the best one, I have all studio albums (and like them all) and about 30 live double CD's and they are awesome. I'd pick the one from Milan, Italy. The audience participation on that CD is amazing.

Studio Order:
Vs
Ten
Yield
Vitalogy
Riot Act
Pearl Jam (latest)
No Code
Binaural
