Who Does Rock Music Better? US or UK
 

A debate that will rage on that we can bring to these boards for a long time. Who does rock music better the U.S or the U.K?

Hendrix, Nirvana, Guns N Roses and Ramones or Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Beatles and Queen.

You can throw some metal in there too born out of rock but who comes out on top?

I tried this game with a few friends Ultimate Rock Battle and we came down to conclusion UK make better bands Us better solo artists.

I suggest Youtube be used to remind yourselves of the best from each band and beer helps too.

With all the due respect, this forum is crammed with "the best this, the best that, who's better: this or that? who's the best etc etc" ...
Isn't all this somewhat inane? There might be some other way of putting forward these kinds of threads.

I don't think it can be decided. There will always be good artists from both sides of the Atlantic, and there's no point in trying to count them all. Besides, who decides which artists are good and which ones aren't? It's all subjective.

I am as rebellious as the next colonist I assure you...But the Uk has always rocked my world harder then, the US... I seem to be able to relate more to it I dunno why and I don't frankly care...Give me a sad British pop record, any day of the week.... Uk does it better baby...

But I don't think the brits have any emo bands.
