Iron Maiden...

Opinions on Iron Maiden? Where they rate next to other metal bands?

Personally, I've loved Iron Maiden ever since I was eleven. I got into their stuff that summer and ever since they've been my favorite band. Sadly, I've only gotten the opportunity to see them live once, which was in Denver. It was an awesome show, though, and I would love to go see them again.
I think that their songs as far as melodies, structure, and lyrics go are absolutely superb. Plus they are all still going strong, and to my knowledge they still don't have to tune down for Bruce Dickinson.

Anyway, that's my (borderline) fanboy rant.

Thoughts?
