Default Consider The Source

An extremely cool and fun band. The technical skill of the musicians involved is really on the next level.
They call their music Sci Fi-Middle Eastern-Fusion.
I think posting them under the general rock-category might work just fine as well.
They are sadly underexposed and underappreciated, so I thought I'd try to change this a little.

Here they are covering Radiohead's "Paranoid Android" and being amazing at it.

Here they are playing something in their more middle eastern style.

And here's the same song, done all acoustic.

I listened to their single Moisture the Situation. And I like the progressive aspect to their sound and style. I like the dynamics of the fretless guitar and the way he sweep picks.
The bass player is unique in the way he utilizes slap bass.

Not something I would listen to very often.
I would place them along side the Dave Mathews Band in my collection for future reference.
I understand they opened for Victor Wooten in 2010.

Talented musicians.

Very interesting. I think I'm hearing slight shades of Primus in their stuff.

Can't say I hear it. There is some slapped bass, but apart from that...
But perhaps I associate Primus too much with Claypool's singing and the general surreal humorous atmosphere.

A glimpse of their upcoming release.
It's a single edit and it does seem a little chopped up (understandable since it's 25 minutes edited into 5), but it's still cool and hints at some greatness to come.
Can't wait for the EP release.

I also liked the kind of music you have shared. It's a new type of music which I loved the most. Sci-Fi Middle Eastern-Fusion is the good name which they have given to their type of music. I also liked the name.
