Jesus, don't make me search for the thread where the conversation occurred.

Its all new news to me you think Pantera is such a well rounded band that should be one of the finalist.

Thanks Necro. I did grow up with both of them as a teen, and having some in-depth knowledge from having learned quite a bit on guitar from each of their catalogs over the years does weigh heavily in my decision. Not that anyone gives a crap... but yeah.

I've also learned some Dimebag. He's good and all, but much of his technique is based around speed, where he falls short on elegance.

Btw, I was going for total opposite end of the spectrum with Osmonds and Partridges, and the J5 and Elton aren't as far as those two.

Maybe, mentioning the Bay City Rollers would have been a little more appropriate.
