Batty's constantly accusing me of ripping off his ideas, but this one doesn't bother me (not that any of the others do) as he freely admitted he stole his "Metal Album Survivor" idea from someone else.

Same thing in every way, except it's bands. Or artistes.

I'll need help from those more in the know about the subgenres though, so if you can give me suggestions for them that would be great. 10 bands total in each subgenre.

I've got so far in terms of subgenres:
Doom
Death
Speed
Thrash
Grindcore
Traditional
Progressive
Power
Stoner (?)
Black
Symphonic/Gothic
Folk/Pagan
Viking (?)


I've almost certainly missed some out, so add any you think I need. Also if you think a subgenre needs subdivisions (Black into Atmospheric Black/Ambient Black/Brutal Black for instance) let me know. Once the lists are complete we can begin.
