BTW Batlord that reply earlier made absolutely no sense.

Talk to me when you attain music knowledge.

Dude, this was in the exact same "article" (I'm assuming) that you posted to prove that Tool are prog rock.

Your own "evidence" contradicted you. Did you even read it before you posted it?

Not trolling but I know who the trolls are now.

Tool are progressive rock. Same genre as King Crimson.

Batlord, Ki, Frownland = trolls

Can't admit when they're wrong and have their lapdogs come rushing when they feel threatened.

Tool isn't metal hahahaha

If you think so you're ****ing stupid or saying it just to say it.

Lapdogs? I just woke up and saw that you replied so I replied to your post.

If you can't have a discussion about the subject without turning into a pompous ass then pretty soon I'll make it so you aren't having conversations on here at all.

If you're curious, he was doing the same thing in the Unpopular Music Opinions thread last night where he instead of trying to have a decent conversation, he proceeded to name calling and swearing combined with incoherent thoughts. I'd say that's enough to get rid of him. Then again, i'm biased since the insults were toward me.

I think it's overrated and overplayed and people like it just because other people like it.

Do you actually read what you type before posting it?

Also, i'm not crying to you, i'm just making sure you know that he's pretty much incapable of having a decent intellectual conversation without swearing / name calling.

Nothing worse than proof to shut the trolls up.

They are progressive rock. There's a difference between rock and metal hence the thread ROCK/METAL.

Know your genres and now you know.

And knowing is half the battle.

Interestingly enough, the Wikipedia page you quoted this stuff from lists Tool's genres as:
  • Alternative metal
  • art rock
  • progressive metal
  • progressive rock

What year is it?

Tool were never metal anyways.

That's like saying Slayer is alternative

Lol

Noted. Thanks.

Unknown Soldier 07-19-2015 11:55 AM

Let's just call Tool progressive metal and hopefully that'll be the end of it ;)

Are you reading anybody's posts in this thread? Your own evidence contradicts your thoughts.
