Such I'm from Australia and have bands like parkwaydrive, and the amity affliction. Which Thy art is murder song do you guys think is has more deeper screams: reign of darkness or laceration penetration.

Well, both songs have an equal level of glass breaking tones, however laceration penetration really speaks to my inner Lorena Bobbit.

For screamo this one's way way more extensive and comprehensive Open Mind / Saturated Brain

Listen to Racebannon. I wasn't aware they were considered screamo but I can attest that they are fantastic. The album Mondo posted is great and their album Satan's Kickin' Yr Dick In is even better.

I don't remember how I stumbled upon it, but it's seriously the best. Zippyshare > any other file sharing site.

Also I need to emphasize Union of Uranus and One Eyed God Prophecy. I guarantee they'll have you soiling your pants. Two "how in the hell is this not metal" bands

I think I've treated the screamo genre in a possibly very unfair way: I simply took the negative attitude everyone had about it as gospel and assumed every band sucked as bad as Brokencyde.

If anyone has some legitemately good screamo that sounds nothing like the most stereotypical stuff, I'd give it a listen.
