Oh, there's definitely blues here. Just don't think the album as a whle has a particularly distinctive bluesy feel to it.
I said a little blues, didn't I?
Yeah, sorry Batty, but just because one track sounds like Cream doesn't mean the whole album is blues rock. It just fits much better into Garage.
County Killers is on Blues Rock now, as we already have a Fleetwood album. I decided that Fun House isn't Blues at all, because jazz fusion isn't blues. Also, we already have a Proto-Punk list, with Raw Power on it because the Stooges' debut is also their worst album.
So Fun House is jazz fusion? It gets curiouser and curiouser.
I mean, there's a saxophone, but that's about as jazz oriented as Fun House gets.
I'd say it has jazz rock elements. Only a couple tracks, though.
Saxophone doesn't equal jazz.
The sax on Fun House's b-side is played in an unjazzy manner. The compositions themselves aren't jazzy as well. |
I didn't say Fun House is jazz fusion. I said jazz fusion isn't blues rock, and therefore there is no blues rock in Fun House. This only means that I believe there are some jazz fusion elements in it (which there definitely are).
Beyond the saxophone, which elements would that be?
