Repeater is the easy answer, but there kind of isn't a real easy answer to Fugazi's best album. It's got that early sound they were going for, but it doesn't have a lot of the more experimental **** that made them so interesting later on. I honestly have no opinion on the matter, as I have listened to enough Fugazi to care what album gets put on, but not enough to care exactly which one.

No, IOTKT is the no-brainer. They only got better from Repeater.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

But Repeater generally gets the most recognition, so it is the no-brainer. But I'd probably rather listen to In on the Kill Taker. It's got more dimensions. But Red Medicine and The Argument are also deserving of consideration.

I've heard of Repeater, 13 Songs, Red Medicine, and Argument. Not IotKT. It wasn't until you pointed it out that I ever considered listening to it, let alone heard of it. Although this is only goping by my own personal experience, I think the fact that Repeater is generally the most accepted as their best (as well as plenty of other albums besides IotKT), is reason enough to put Repeater there. If we're going with quality, I'd say The Argument makes a close second.

I'd agree with Repeater as the choice, but in this case I think a consensus would be good. Otherwise just go with Repeater.

So two for Repeater? One for IotKT.

Alright, so if we're doing a best album list shouldn't the more ambitious one get the pick?

Consider my vote down for any one of Red Medicine, In on the Killer Taker, The Argument, or Repeater. I might choose one in a little bit, but I'm not about to rep one album over the other without listening to Fugazi more.

Wouldn't that mean Red Medicine?

Relistening to The Argument right now. Although it's great, I don't think it's as representative of post-hardcore as Repeater. Plus, Repeater is still better.
