Why is band Eagles rated low on the RYM site?
 

On a site RateYourMusic.com the Eagles classic album Hotel California is rated only 3.4, while their best rated album is Desperado with the rate 3.55. Why are a very good and popular American rock band Eagles underappreciated on RYM? What you think?

Cause **** the Eagles, man.

Because they suck.

I tend to consider anything over a 3 a "good" rating on RYM. Certainly, I'm even much harsher on albums given the rating system I've established (almost no albums get a 5 from me).

3.5 is actually a decent score for any album average on rym. Even the highest rated album has only a 4.11 or something. Plus those Eagles albums are bolded, which means they have a place on the Top 10,000 chart somewhere. I'd say that's appreciation.
