There is no real metal anymore!

The true metal gods were,
Megadeth,
Metallica,
Anthrax,
Pantera,

But Megadeth, and Pantera are no more. And i think everyone will agree, that since the St Anger album, Metallica have just lost it! and alto Anthrax are still a F***ing GREAT band, even they have strayed away from their original RAW POWER attitude.

So i would have to say that "Real Metal" is with the gods!

Metal is not dead, well maybe in the US, but the euros have a crap load of great metal bands. And metallica sucked when they came out with reload.

I hear what you are saying, but to me, metal is a kind of music which when i hear it, i want to get up and move. It fills me with energy. Maybe thats coz i play the guitar, i don't know. But with todays standards, it just isn't the same as it was!

along with the rest of the power metal mentioned, ie. Hammerfall, Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Helloween, Iron Maiden.. etc etc..
i honestly don't understand how they could've been missed out!!
