Default question

Is it possible to have a strong rock band, with a female as lead, and actually last. Like, I can't think of anyone that I'm not sick of already. I'm just curious because It's my dream to be the female lead in a rock band of guys. I just dont want to be a huge blow up, only to have people get annoyed and sick of my music. That's the last thing I want.

I reckon it's possible. I wouldnt worry about what others think though, every band has its critics.

I hated all those bands. I don't know, there are some. Fleetwood Mac seemed to make it, Blondie. I don't know what you mean by hard rock. Its possible just as long as you don't succumb to the innumerate pitfalls of being a female in a pig-headed music fan base. Wear nothing revealing, be intelligent, and don't go for the stupid easy songs just to sell.

Honesty will carry everyone where they need to go, my advice is tattoo that to your arm and you should be fine.

Also wait, till your third hit album before you start making stances on things like politics and other musicians (unless its in song) because its the perriferal that offen pisses people off about a band.

Females have just as much potential to make it as males. Theres just more heterosexual male fans in Hard Rock, so theres more of a "show us your tits" mentality. Give it up and loose it all.

Yeah, Blondie and the Pretenders have lasted a long enough time with the one woman, lot of guys thing going on, it'll just come down to how much dedication you give for it, and if you get lucky.

I don't think breasts are a disadvantage for serious musicians these days.
