The Deepest Purple best of compilation was the first Deep Purple record I ever bought.

Yeah I'd say it's metal. Not as metal as "Highway Star" or "Iron Man" or something, but it passes.

This reads like bootleg Chula what with it being boring, personal **** that only kind of has anything to do with what we're talking about.

Btw, the part after the guitar/keyboard duet thing where Ian Gillian starts screaming and laughing and the song slams back full force is one of the best moments in Heavy Metal, early or otherwise.
