Sure reads like a bit of a diss.

I have lots of things triggering delusions these days. Zeppelin ain't one of them.

Naw, I was pointing out that Black Sabbath would be ripping off Led Zeppelin. Try to get past the words so you can understand the meaning and context.

Edit: Most people know there are some blatant rip-offs Page used from a few blues players, etc, but that wasn't my intent here.

Reading your words at face value dude. And let's not get into the whole Zeppelin are thieves crap. **** was going on pretty blatantly back in the day.

Yes, this is why you also need to consider meaning.

If all of the songwriters of the time jumped off of a bridge, should they have done it too?

Bro your kneejerk reaction here is supposed to be that they could never have stolen any songs, not that they are justified in ripping off songs because everyone else was doing it at the time. The latter argument not only concedes that Zeppelin might not have been perfect, it accuses them of being conformists and failing to innovate .

Just stop. I'll try to communicate what I was trying to convey one more time, as gently as possible.

Not knowing the right word to use isn't quite the same as a typo. But yes I always feel better, permanent upward trajectory.
