Sabbath has way more overall replay value and imo, they're a lot more creative and innovative. Some Zeppelin songs kinda bore me tbh, but BS, especially at their best, is pure beauty.
Dissing on LZ1? Are you freaking kidding me? Pretty sure Sabbath wouldn't have even existed without this song, recorded almost a year before Sabbath's debut.
Bonham.......... good lord. Such an incredible drum track. And Plant........ primal.
Iommi definitely stole his double tracked stereo solos idea from Page.
And still heavier than anything Sabbath ever did.
I think Zeppelin's first album is still their best to this day. However, I'm perfectly fine with only having their first four albums and the BBC Sessions. I like Zep, but I definitely don't love 'em.
