Word. Like "why is such a great band doing this trite crap?"

lol

I like how it ends. Being a fixture in the context of the end of a movie is probably the best thing that could ever happen to it.

Honestly, Sabbath have made plenty of crap. Iommi was an innovator, but not necessarily a great artist. Much less so for Ozzy.

I like them and they arguably revolutionized guitar music, but I wouldn't call them artistic geniuses. I think they just kind of stumbled on something unique and happened to have great chemistry.

Tony Iommi has played the same solos throughout his entire career. As someone who has listened to every single Sabbath album ever recorded, including that "The Devil You Know" album, I find it obvious that Iommi is a rather limited artist.

01 - War Pigs
02 - Electric Funeral
03 - Supernaut
04 - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
05 - N.I.B.
06 - Snowblind
07 - Sweet Leaf
08 - Paranoid
09 - Into The Void
10 - Iron Man

Their first six are the only ones that I care about.

So they're like every band.

So you think every band stumbles on something unique?

And I thought my bar was low.

It's true though. Name an artist who didn't stumble into their sound but invented it from the ground up.
