It all went downhill when he made his big comeback in the late 80`s and started sounding like a menacing version of Bon Jovi. Despite that, I still think "Raise Your Fist and Yell" a great album as he kind of revisits the sound of his classic early 70`s material. |
Alice Cooper definitely has it's moments. I think the live version of "My Stars" is an incredibly impressive and very underrated song.

Alice is the best! Personally, I put the run of Love It To Death-Killer-School's Out-Billion Dollar Babies with any other band in history!
Also, Alice is supposedly working on a follow-up to his 1975 masterpiece, Welcome To My Nightmare with Bob Ezrin in Nashville with the original band! I'm pumped for that to come out! |

Well while everyone is talking about the Coop...
Did anyone else buy Theatre Of Death? The album is greeeeeaaaaat. His voice has really changed from his old days, but it's still awesome. More... menacing? Maybe? Definitely growlier, but I think that's just because he's gotten older. But as one reviewer said, his vocals are like fine wine. They only get better with age. Anyway, I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about it. It's one of those albums that I've listened to several times a month since I bought it back in October, and it's just never gotten stale. |
Alice is brilliant!
Welcome to My Nightmare definately one of my all time favourites. I also have one of his live albums "A Fistful of Alice". That CD is pure awesomeness. Favourite songs: Only Women Bleed, Feed My Frankenstein, You & Me, Welcome to My Nightmare and Poison. |
Gotta agree on "A Fistful Of Alice" being an amazing album. When I first heard about the man, that was the album I bought, completely at random.
It was like... an epiphany. I was so totally blown away I have no words for the feeling to this very day. Still like Theatre Of Death better, though. |
Im 27 almost 28 in a month, I Love Alice Cooper. First song was iffy off ACaS.
but Welcome 2 My Nightmare is New Music? album, Alice, band is all fresh atleast they dont rip off other members like Kiss does. |
I own his RECORDS. Most of them...does that make me old?

there is no doubt that Alice Cooper has changed the whole rock show experience of today. his crazy stage presence started a wave to performances by rock bands rather than simple musical playing.
