Agreed... I looked at the post because I thought it was going to be either a message about how good their music is, or how much the person hated the band. I got neither... Maybe it should have been titled "For Fans of PETA"?

or for fans of pseudo science

there is nothing wrong or immoral about the slaughter of animals for food. i'm not supporting some of the conditions they are kept in but PETA and ALF take it waaay to far.

Vegetarians suck ass, I tried it for a while and found that I slept less, grew less, and was malnourished. A big ****ing waste of time. Animals aren't "sacred", **** 'em.

And WOW one of the sponsored links is "Take our Beef Survey"... Hah cool beans.

you said cool beans. I love you. :)

I'm vegetarian. What you eat is a personal choice. So all you *******s who are calling vegetarians assh*les can go f*ck yourself. No one is telling you what to eat. Don't insult us for what we choose to. Just because you couldn't take not being able to eat meat for a couple days doesn't mean you're better than people who can go years without it.

Not to get argumentative, but isan't PETA's main goal to get people to stop from eating meat and using animal products? I think that is kinda telling me what to eat... I don't have a problem with vegitarians (I'm also related to a few), but I do have a problem with people telling me what to do. If you choose to not eat meat, thats cool with me, just don't try to force me to do the same.

well i'm not trying to tell anyone what to eat, and yeah i think PETA is a bit extreme, but i was talking about people on this forum.

Ah, ok, I see what you're saying. But Jonah always seems to be pushing PETA. She has the right to, but it kinda gets old.

I'm going to see them in June, I've never seen them live before but I'm actually more a fan of Alexisonfire if I had to choose, I think George is adorable ;) ... about the influence aspect... famous people and media have a huge influence over us mortals, some folk wouldn't quite like to admit to that perhaps. When I went to see Alexisonfire the other week there was this guy infront of me who was shouting that he loved Dallas the lead singer, I thought this was a bit odd. I know I shouldn't really. It was because he was a guy I guess and he looked so punky-wunky and I wouldn't expect something like that from him. The guy was totally freaking out when they came on stage, it made me realise how bands and fame effect us. Where something like Veggeterianism is concerned I feel it would be appeal to certain fans, but it is as someone pointed out a MASSIVE lifestyle change and I highly doubt it would provoke fans to follow suit unless they were die hard fans.
