Wes Borland and his guitar playing. He's under rated, the poor lad.

I don't know, he seems to be ranked pretty high on some of the surveys I've seen in the past.

Wes Borland's entire claim to fame is that he's the underrated guy from Limp Bizkit. If he was from a less awful band, would anybody really care? Is he actually good enough for anyone to take notice without him being in a cartoonishly awful band?

I think he is, yes. Go check out Black Light Burns, he's the guitarist/lead vocals. I am not saying you'll be blown away, but I think you'll notice that his playing has a more tasteful or thought out quality to it. I still think he is capable of much better work, but Black Light Burns isn't the appropriate outlet for the kind of playing I know he's capable of. It's just an alt rock/industrial group he put together.

I personally don't, i liked him in limp bizkit cause i always saw him as the guy who was gonna keep Fred at bay.
Sure enough when he left Limp bizkit became more about Fred than the band.

Limp bizkit wasn't that great of a band to start with and loosing wes made their sound even more commercial.

i still have a soft spot for their 1st album though, to this day i still luv this song
