I continue to just find new albums on YouTube to try something new. Today I found Tortuga, which this video description calls "Psychedelic Doom Metal band from Poznań, Poland"

So far it has all the low-end fuzz of Doom that I've come to love. A strong dose of Black Sabbath, the random sound clips from monster movies. The lyrics that tell me they don't take themselves too seriously (easily the best part of doom) like:

He's just a sleazy mutant
Basically sucks
While I'm a mythical god
So what the ****!?

He's been in novels, movies
And television shows
And video games and series

Yig hates Godzilla
**** you, Godzilla

All in all, a great listen. It's not going to make your album of the year lists but your "best album" list sucks anyway.
