Which band's "Rain" was better - the Beatles or KISS?
Personally, I prefer KISS's "Rain". It has more interesting chord progressions, more complex instrumental parts, and Paul Stanley was a better singer than John Lennon. The lyrics are also more interesting, to me at least.

Imagine starting an account on an internet music forum specifically to ask a bunch of strangers if they think a Kiss ripoff of Soundgarden/Alice In Chains is better than a completely unrelated Beatles song with the same name.

Never heard that before, not bad. Better than the Kiss one for sure.

Or if Polly Holiday followed it up with: "...my grits".

Unrelated, but the Beatles song is a masterpiece. Credit where due. |
