Velvet Revolver
 

Velvet Revolver is band that consists of ex-Guns members Slash, Matt Sorum, Duff and Scott Weiland from STP. The album is called Contraband. It is due to be released on 6-08-04. I've only heard one track off the album and it sounds great. I'm looking forward to hearing more tracks. Its hard to describe their sound. I'm sure this will be a good CD. You really can't go wrong with Slash, Duff and Scott IMO. :yeah:

Being tha huge fan of gnr i am ... i naturally cant wait to hear what slash, duff n matt are up to with *velvet revolver* i recon tha albums gonna be AWESOME! just wish that it was the ORIGINAL guns n roses bringing out a new album tho lol... speaking of guns n roses....anyone know whats doing with the *NEW* gnr? whats mr. rose doin ?:|

Velvet Revolver was in my town, I think last weekend. The show sold out in less than an hour. I guess everyone likes them. Either that, or it was a small show...lol

I think that song is class also, u shud listen 2 Do it for the kids, set me free, youve got no right and Sucker train blues......tho i suggest u get the album cos its quite good!!!

New album's called Contraband... I'm seeing pretty good reviews but it's still pretty $$ for a cd... waiting till Manila to buy it cuz it's cheaper.

Video clip was kinda whacked... the dude from Stone Temple is a bit strange if you ask me... still I like Slither. Good song and some pretty good riffs there.

I like them because its finally GnR without Axl. hehe Although the Stone Temple Pilots vocalists looks like a malnourished pale worm in the video. I do like them.

Slither was fantastic so i went out and bought the album on the strength of that one song. ****e. the only decent song on it is slither. Look out on ebay. You'll see my copy very soon

I didn't like GnR, but Velvet Revolver is awesome! I highly reccomend buying Contraband
