They will always and forever be compared to the Beatles. I realize that it bothers you though, when we don't comply to every rule that you lay out in your original post.
It bothers me when you could have done that it 6 other threads on the main page of gen forums. Though I can't say im alone, I mean anytime someone doesn't use the search button you lose your mind and become a 5 year old. So im sure you can sympathize well enough...

And seeing as you're clearly illiterate, I was asking for what people thought, and went out of my way to say I wasn't telling I was asking. Can someone translate this into pictures for our buddy Little Bill?

Also, very funny jibber, but did you hear the stones version of that song...its unlistenable because jagger doesn't hold the notes like dylan did. Oh it almost physically hurt me.

I wish I got to see the Rolling Stones later this month but I didn't get in quick enough plus prior commitments. Probably the last time they will ever be here too.

And the small fact that you have to give up a first born and a vital organ to afford a ticket.

Arrow The Rolling Stones

I have been listening to music for a number of years now, way more than I would honestly like to admit.
I've listend to and like a number of different genres of music, Rock, R&B/soul/funk, and so on.
But within the last decade or so I have realized who I believe in my opinion, is the greatest rock band of all-time.
Not only just musically which I believe that the Stones music is the purest rock & roll that there is, I mean when I think of funk/blues/rock guitar Richards is the man.
I will not even comment on the other band members because you only need to honestly listen to the Rolling Stones music in order to get the point, and this post would have to become a major review to be able to state everything the Stones have accomplished within the history of rock & roll.
Mick Jagger...one of the greatest showmen of all-time, and maybe the sassiest vocalist & frontman ever.
So in conclusion, I just had to get this off my chest and let/tell the World who...exactly is the greatest rock band of All-Time, no other than...
THE ROLLING STONES!

I have a tough time deciding who is better; The Beatles or Zeppelin. But I do know that I prefer both to the Rolling Stones.

The stones are just... kinda... boring. But I do like and respect them.

edit: I've been wondering, what does "account disabled" mean here? Were those people banned, or is that something they do on their own?

there songs aren't that great
mick jagger is annoying
mick jaggers voice isn't really that great
mick jagger has a annoying show now(could have just been a doc tho..not sure but either way).. and him and his daughters were singing on it and non of them could sing at all.. there were just random mouse liek sounds and random 'ooohs' and 'yeas' coming out of jaggers mouth it was so stupid.
that other guy in the band.. the drunk one.. ew i don't get it.. he also isn't that great...
there songs aren't overly great... but i can understand why people would like there songs..
there old now.. and they shoudl realize that... there still milking the cow.. only the cow has been dead for years.. they've milked bessy dry... *crise* poor cow.
this band really buggers me..

anyways i know i shall get jumped all over for this.. but hell its all just MY opinion and we all know how well my thoughts are welcomed around here.
Blah, whatever.

Rolling Stones = Orgasm.

Pretty much my favourite artists ever. I am intrigued to what the re-released "Exile on Mainstreet" album is going to sound like as apparently Mick Jaggers voice has been digitally remastered to sound clean.

Saw them in concert a couple of years ago, absolutely brilliant show. Mick Jagger looks like a corpse but has the energy of a 12 year-old. Keith Richards got to sing a couple of songs and his voice is irresistible.

Favourite track is probably Gimmie Shelter.

They're easily among my favourite ever artists too. I actually listen to their 70s material more than the 60s stuff, but that's more because all I have of the latter are Beggar's Banquet, Let It Bleed and Aftermath. Those three, Sticky Fingers, Exile On Main Street, Some Girls and half of Goat's Head Soup have been convincing enough for me down the years though.

My favourite song of theirs changes from day to day, but at the minute it's probably this one;

^ One those songs that just has to played really, really loud.

Thats^some good stuff BullDog! I had to go and listen to some Stones after hearing it.
A couple of songs I have to listen to when I go through my collection is,
Gimme Shelter.
Under My Thumb.
and my favorite, Your Love Is Strong.
Richards guitar parts are just so damn good, and I love the way the Stones incorporated the harmonica into their music.
