Your Ted Nugent Best Of Mix...

Alright, this will essentially be your "greatest hits" mix of Ted favorites although it doesn't have to necessarily include so-called "hits."Because the Nuge has so many great songs, I will allow your selections to fill a 42 track package. If you want, you can put 20 tracks in the order you'd want to hear them for both discs or you could simply line up your 40 tracks.Do whatever you like and make sure that you don't regret your top 40-42 choices later.

My top tracks:

1. Stranglehold.
2. Stormtroopin'.
3. Hey Baby.
4. Just What The Doctor Ordered.
5. Snakeskin Cowboys.
6. Where Have You Been All My Life.
7. Free-For-All.
8. Dog Eat Dog.
9. Turn It Up.
10. Put Up Or Shut Up.

11. Queen Of The Forest.
12. Venom Soup.
13. Pony Express.
14. Land Of A Thousand Dances.
15. Tied Up In Love.
16. My Bow And Arrow.
17. I Just Wanna Go Hunting.
18. Together.
19. Living In The Woods.
20. J.B. Special.

21. Sweet Revenge.
22. Gimme Love.
23. Slidin' On.
24. Workin' Hard, Playin' Hard.
25. Lady Luck.
26. Call Of The Wild.
27. Renegade.
28. Get Yer Guns.
29. Papa's Will.
30. Rattle My Snake.

31. Rock And Roll Hoochie Coo.
32. Scottish Tea.
33. Cannon Balls.
34. Thighraceous.
35. I Shoot Back.
36. Tooth, Fang & Claw.
37. Primitive Man.
38. Crave.
39. Rawdogs & Warhogs.
40. Damned If Ya Do.
41. Pu$sywhipped.
42. My Baby Likes My Butter On Her Gritz.

That's most likely what I'd want in my Nuge mix of 40-42 tracks. If I were in prison, on an island or anywhere else and could only have 42 of his tracks to listen to until I died, those would be it.

Yes!And no "Cat Scratch Fever" or "Baby Please Don't Go" either.I already have all of those songs deeply tattooed into my musical mind/memory.And just because it's a heavily played hit doesn't mean that I have to hear it all the damn time.As Ted would say, you can "Kiss My A$s!"

So what if he is/might be a "redneck?"It's the music that matters, considering the fact that he's one of the greatest musicians/guitarists/songwriters of all time.:usehead: Why do straight people listen to artists like Judas Priest and Elton John? The reason is because the music is good, fella! It's simply common sense, youngster, so I'm not even gonna waste my time arguing with you much over it.Learn what the meaning of music is all about before you ever try having one of these jaded opinion discussions with me again!:bringit:

Seriously, if you haven't seen him live yet, I highly recommend it.You'll most likely get to hear all of those tunes and more in his performance.Ted is a monster live...
...it's amazing how much energy he, still to this day, puts in his performance.Ted is one of the best guitarists not only of today, but forever. It's amazing that he's one of the best guitarists of the past 40 years, yet still alive, ya know?Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dimebag, etc...have sadly passed, but Ted is still alive and well.Obviously Ted is also one of the few that are against drugs though too, so that's gotta say something.

I'm glad you feel the same as I do about drugs/music.Artists are here to make great music, not to influence everyone to do drugs, ya know?Amen to that!
