Any comments on the Super Bowl halftime show? I thought Roger looked winded but Pete was sounding good as ever. While I love Baba O'Reilly, Who Are You, and Won't Get Fooled Again, did they have to do all three songs from CSI? I know they are the songs newer generations know but how about introducing some of your other hits.

Well, playing anything but their biggest hits was probably out of question, and Robert may not be so glad to sing "I hope I die before I get old" anymore (though he looks 30 years younger than Pete).

They also played "See Me Feel Me".

A long time ago I used to listen to rap. And my Dad hated it and was trying to get me to like classic rock, and he introduced The Who to me after a while. Thats when i began to fall in love with Classic rock. So I love The Who and thank them for turning me to great music.

I didn't think that was an actual song, its not on the Tommy tracklist. I thought it was part of "Go to the Mirror, Boy".
Wow, I sound like a dick. I'm sorry.

Alfred 02-14-2010 08:37 PM

You're right on it not being it's own individual song. It's just that it is commonly played as an individual song, and it is its own track on my greatest hits CD.

TumorAttitude 02-14-2010 08:52 PM

Thank you, I feel like less of a chode.
I listened to it as "See me, Feel me" and I didn't like it as much as I do when I hear at least the build up at the beginning of "Go to the Mirror" on the album. It was beautiful during halftime though.

'See Me, Feel Me' was released as a single. It's not an individual song on Tommy, but it shows up two or three times on it. The single release was taken from 'We're Not Gonna Take It'. So if you want to get technical, you could say that it's its own individual song, since it had its own individual release, which is why it's on a Greatest Hits.

Just sayin'. =/
