Sieges Even

Despite the bald heads on their main website photo, this bunch are belting out early Rush/ Yes progressive vibes via Porcupine Tree. I have The Art of Navigating By The Stars album. I'm digging!

I like PT so I'll have a look. I haven't listened to anything prog like since Oceansize, who I checked out a whole lot of months back.

Listening to life-cycle, it's actually pretty good. The vocalist sounds like he came from Savatage or DT but the music has some urgency about it. I like it.

Despite obviously not being that well known on these boards (shame on you), Sieges Even split a couple of years back and a couple of members went on to form Subsignal who play a more melodic prog sound. Sort of similar to Riverside without the heavier aspects with the album Beautiful & Monstrous being their only release to date with a new release out this year.
