it's like a modern-ish old Stones album if you ask me, there's only really one duff track on it and that's Can you Hear the Music? |
The Beatles, by far
|
I go with the Beatles, they paved the way.
|
The Who
The Beatles The Rolling Stones The Kinks |
If you're just ranking them based on their British Invasion phase, I'll give it to the Stones.
But if we're saying 'Which of these artists associated with the British Invasion is the best?' I say Beatles, Kinks, Who, Stones. |
I'll go with the underdog, and a very good band as well, The Hollies.
The Rolling Stones #1. The Who #2. Judas Priest #3. |
Yeah, I voted the Beatles too...
Although all of them are great. Ha, the Rolling Stones and The Who are tied... We need a tiebreaker vote! |
Voted for the kinks simply because i prefer their albums, throughout the 60's and into the early 70's their output was more consistent then either of those other bands and i certainly feel that they were pushing music forward more than either of them.
I like the Rolling Stones and the Who although i don't find the whole of their catalogue as consistent as the Kinks, theres probably a couple of albums of each i really like and the rest i find pretty 'meh'. The Beatles i have never liked, they are just too pop for me, arguably the first boy band, i just can't sit through any of their albums. |
None from the list. Otherwise, my answer to the question in the title would have been ---> Queen (...that they were included in the list)
|
Queen are not one of the British invasion bands of the 60's
