^ Don't forget She Came In Through The Bathroom Window, one of the best songs on the album.

Unfortunately two of my least favorite songs are also on it, Octopus' Garden and I Want You (She's So Heavy)

I think the B-side medley is perfectly made, from Mean Mr.Mustard to End. In addition, the A-side got some classic songs such us "Something" "Come Together" "I want you (She's so heavy)", my favorite Beatle track "Because" and Ringo's best among many, "Octopus' Garden".

So I think it can be a quasi-perfect album [maybe it would've been perfect if they pulled "Maxwell's silver hammer" ]

Edit: I just saw that

I Want You is pretty good, but Octopus' Garden is absolute ****. Figures it's a Ringo song huh. So it goes.

Edit: That reminds me, Maxwell's Silver Hammer what an absolutely awful song. Oh god it makes me so annoyed for the rest of the day whenever I hear it. CLANG CLANG

Good call on Because. Some of their best harmonies there, no kidding. Very spectral feel to it, a la Within You Without You.

It's good that song is so underrated, or it would've been The Beatles' "Imagine".

I like I Want You up until that part where it goes on and on and on and on for ever. It's just so boring. Also, it doesn't really sounds like the Beatles, so it's not really a good song for me when I'm looking for a Beatles fix.

And yeah, Maxwell's Silver Hammer sucks. And so does Octopus' Garden.

And yeah, starting with Mean Mr. Mustard, Abbey Road gets pretty perfect. But that first half...

I just don't like the song. You obviously do.

And the sounds like the Beatles thing was kind of stupid I'll admit. They really did get pretty diverse later on.

That sentence only made me imagine your reaction to "Within you without you"

Erm... there wasn't much "later on" after Abbey Road Beatles-wise...
