No, i agree, i dont see much influence, maybe nirvana, but thats it. Nirvana, not even that much. I say the choices given are alot better doode.

Because they did a lot for music and took risks that bands of their level of popularity aren't supposed to take. Thus inspiring bands that followed to do similar things.
